Millions of milestones!!!

This past week has been FULL of milestones for our kids! I hate it when a lot of things change all at once because it just seems like everyone is growing up too fast! I can't keep up lately... it took me about an hour and a half the other day just to update their baby books!!!

So here are all the crazy milestones that our kids have been busy working on...

Jack slept 8 hours straight for the first time ever. :-) But it only happened once. :-(

Mia had cotton candy for the first time and she liked it! At first she wasn't sure about it's texture but kept asking for more!

Jack has started to sit up a little bit. He's not quite stable, but even in his bouncy seat he doesn't relax anymore! It looks like this...  

Mia turned 2... here go the terrible two's!!!

Jack used his baby swing for the last time. He kept trying to sit up in it and was never happy in it anymore. It's sad to think that there won't be any more baby swings in our living room!

Bailee said "in Jesus's name Amen" instead of just "Amen" after praying. It was so sweet!

Jack has outgrown his Infantino front carrier (he's just too plain heavy!) and has graduated to the bigger metal framed backpack. He's easier to carry, but more importantly he LOVES it! :0)

Mia went to 'kid's church' last week for the first time. It's like graduating from the nursery at church and she was so excited. I thought she would hesitate but she went willingly!!!

Jack started using his big boy high chair. He likes being up high and seeing what's going on during dinner time. (I just realized I haven't taken his picture in it yet... must do that tomorrow because before I know it he'll be too big for it!)

Mia started wearing 2T clothes!!! She's only at the third percentage in size for her age, so she's been wearing the same clothes for a LONG time. Thank goodness for the person that invented adjustable waist pants, it's the only thing she can wear!

Bailee's new phrase of the week is "What's going on here?" She walks into the room and demands to know what's happening! (It's not really a milestone, but I thought it was funny because I always ask that when I think the girls are being naughty!)

And the most exciting of all... Jack got his first tooth! He's 5 months old and he already has a tooth! I couldn't believe it, but now I realize that might explain the fussiness and his chewing on everything!!!
