Mia's Dora Birthday Party

My sweet Mia-bean had a birthday this week and it was lots of fun to watch her eyes light up with delight at her Dora-themed party! We had a small party at our home with just immediate family. She throughly enjoyed herself and I loved watching her visit with everyone!

This is my sweet 2 year old wearing her new Dora dress up outfit... she danced around like a princess all night!
My sister is quite talented in the cake-making department! She made this Dora cake and the girls LOVED it!!!
Here's Mia blowing out her candle. I bet she made a wish that included chocolate milk, toys and her beloved Doggie!
She got several nice presents and Bailee enjoyed "helping" her check them out! Mia was wearing one of her favorite gifts... "pirate" head wraps!
This was Bailee's response to most of the night. She had a hard time because the party wasn't for her but she got over it after a while.

Here are some of Mia's talents, accomplishments and special quirks that I just love about her!

At 2 years old she can...
recite her abc's,
sing MANY songs and remembers new ones very quickly,
she recognizes the letters M, O, A, B, I, and D,
she can count up to 13,
jump, run, do a summersault, and climb anything!

She gives the BEST kisses and hugs. If she kisses one of your cheeks she insists on kissing the other one too (it's the sweetest thing!) She thinks the world of her big sister, but is also very competitive with her. If Bailee is doing something then Mia thinks she must be able to do it too!

She loves chicken sandwich meat, goldfish and chocolate milk. She HATES puppets, dressed up mascot-type creatures, and masks on people. She loves the Wiggles, Dora and Elmo.

She's tiny (only at 3% on the weight charts) but full of spirit and spunk! She's very cautious with new people but once you've won her heart she'll love you forever.

Happy Birthday Miss Mia... Mommy love you sooooooo much!
